Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted here, I really miss this blog and because of my lack of interest in Stardoll, I ignored this blog for a while and let the other writers do their thing, which I know I shouldn't have done. When I first started writing here, in 2009, this blog was my number one priority, but now things have changed, this isn't 2009 anymore, people have grown out of Stardoll, moved on to bigger and better things, which I'm sure all of us have to do at one point in our lives.
I'm sure Jenna is having the time of her life right now, and although she left this blog in our hands, it's just not the same anymore. What happened to the competitions? The polls? The CG of the month? I've been observing the blog quietly for the past few days now and I know the other writers worked hard to keep this blog active and to keep it from slipping down under. The comments have gone from 30+ to 10 or less in one post. I want the blog back the way it was before. Jenna may not be here right now, but I'm sure she wanted to keep this blog active.
So I was thinking...
Why don't we come up with a few ideas for the blog? New segments, comps, things like that. I'm glad to see the lottery has made a comeback. Right now I'm broke on Stardoll (lol), so if I'm doing comps I need someone to help me out with the prizes like SS Codes, Starcoins/Stardollars and such. And maybe a few prizes never done before on the blog, like free graphics/banners or modeling opportunities (maybe we could sponsor other projects for some comps? Collaboration would be awesome!) Anything to help the blog.
Or maybe revamp some old comps or something, I have a few ideas in mind but I can't do it alone, so I need all the help I can get.
So here's what I want you to do:
1. Come up with a few ideas, maybe things that you've always wanted to see on the blog, and post them in the comments. You can post more than one idea, all of them will be considered.
The ideas I think are best may be done here on the blog, I'll be contacting the person with the winning idea to sort out a few things here and there, and of course, I want to know the other writer's opinions and ideas as well, so I'll be contacting them too.
Hopefully with a little creative thinking, teamwork and help, we can get this blog going again. But for now, see you!
